Brief Biography:

Richard A. Smith, DDS received his dental degree from Columbia University School of Dentistry and Oral Surgery in 1967. He was commissioned as a captain in the United States Air Force Dental Corps in 1967 and received a Certificate of Training from New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center in 1972. After his training, he joined the full-time faculty of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery where is currently Clinical Professor and Vice Chairman. He holds a California dental license and is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
