Brief Biography:
Dr. WESTERNOFF is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with 9 years of extensive surgical experience. He graduated with honors when obtaining his bachelors degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1994. In 1998, Dr. Westernoff completed his post-graduate degree, obtaining a Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, with Cum Laude honors. During dental school he became US Army reservist, and was commissioned as an officer on the USS Constitution.
Wanting to purse a profession in oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Westernoff continued his education at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) residency program and the UCSF School of Medicine. During his six years at UCSF, he completed Oral Maxillofacial Surgery training, obtained his medical degree (M.D.) and finished a year of general surgery training. In addition to his extensive education, Dr. Westernoff was activated and promoted to a Major in the US Army where he served for three years as full time hospital staff at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, where he practiced full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery. He was deployed in 2005 during Operation Iraqi Freedom and served at a Combat Support Hospital in Mosul, Iraq. Dr. Westernoff received a Meritorious Service Medal for his outstanding service while in Iraq.
Dr. Westernoff completed board certification for both the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and currently holds diplomate status in both organizations.
Having completed nine years in the US Army Ready Reserve and three years active duty, Dr. Westernoff and his wife elected to move back home to Southern California in 2007, where he and his wife are raising their family of four and continuing their professional careers.

Brief Biography:
At the University of California, San Francisco, Schmidt earned a doctor of dental surgery degree, a medical degree and a Ph.D. in oral biology. During his studies, Schmidt was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon (the national dental honor society), as well as, Alpha Omega Alpha (the national medical honor society). He completed his residency training in general surgery and oral and maxillofacial surgery at UCSF Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in head and neck cancer at Legacy Emanuel Hospital and Health Center in Portland, Oregon. He is currently an Associate Professor, the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program Director and the Oral and Maxillofacial Oncology Fellowship Director. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also the principal investigator of several research studies on oral cancer.

Brief Biography:
After three years on the faculty at UCSF our love of the mountains drew Bridget and I to Jackson Hole Wyoming. There was no oral surgeon here so we decided to give it a shot. We built an office and have worked three days a week since we started. It’s great being a surgeon in a small town. Hospital call is light and I share it with a new plastic surgeon. We get along wonderfully and occasionally work together. It’s fantastic having close follow up on our healthy, young, compliant and insured trauma patients. The practice has grown steadily over the years and may need an associate soon. We live in a box canyon with our dog, overlooking the Snake River. We spend our winter snowboarding and backcountry skiing and our summers hiking the mountains. I gave up technical climbing a few years ago after a scary fall (minimal injuries) but I have a new passion flying radio controlled sailplanes. We urge our friends to consider a visit to this great town and near by Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.

Dr. Grecco is a 1985 honors graduate of Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry. He completed specialty training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 1991 at UCSF where he currently serves as Associate Clinical Professor. Dr. Grecco maintains a full-time private practice in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Manteca, California.

Scott Lambert, D.D.S. 1952-2002
Scott Lambert, a Bay Area native, died July 17, 2002 from head injuries sustained in a bicycle race. He was born in Castro Valley where he played basketball and tennis, and he attended UC Berkeley. He obtained his dental degree from UCSF School of Dentistry in 1979 and completed a GPR Program at UCSF in 1980. He completed the UCSF Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Training Program in June of 1983. He practiced oral and maxillofacial surgery in Citrus Heights with UCSF alumnus Steven L. Brown.
